I'm so looking forward to the coming weekend. Mandy will be teaching here at Sir Stampalot, how to create this stunning album. It's HUGE and gorgeous :)
Mandy has used the Graphic 45 paper collection called Time to Flourish and one of the natural Bazzill colours for the foundation of the album and pages.
Here's a picture of the front cover:
Mandy's used chain and Tim Holtz baubles to create a cool album closure hooked onto a hitch fastener.
Here's a spread of the pages from the side:
The inside front cover depicts January with a nice little flap to a pocket for tags n things:
February and March each have their own page with penty of co-ordinating tags in the flips, flaps and pockets:
This is April with a double opening flap:
And here's April and May before opening the double April flap:
June and July looking gorgeous:
August and September - my favourite:
October and November:
and then finishing off on the back pages and back inside cover with December.
Absolutely so beautiful.
It's a weekend retreat class but the girls will have to work flat out to get it complete. It'll be sooooo worth it though when they've completed it knowing they made it from scratch.
Such a popular class that the repeat in April is already full too! If anyone is interested let me know and I can either put you on the waiting list or, if enough interest, look at running a third session in the summer making this album.

UK Scrappers Christmas Blog Hop 2013
Hello one and all. Today I’m posting a project as part of the UKS Christmas Blog Hop. This post is part of a blog hop over at UK Scrappers, where from 1st December until Christmas there is a project every day.
The rules of the hop are:
So, welcome to Day 10 of the UKS Christmas Blog Hop!
We hope you enjoyed yesterday’s post, the lovely hanging star decoration by Niki at Being Scrappy.
Sir Stampalot’s project today is using one of the amazing Sizzix ‘flip-it’ themed framelit sets. I taught it at an instore class recently and it went down very well. So hope you like it too.

Also stamp in black and clear emboss the Happy Christmas sentiment on the bottom right of the big rectangular patterned cardstock.
Also stamp in black and clear emboss a stitching stamp down the left hand side of the other piece of patterned cardstock that will be used on the front of the card.
Then finally, I’ve stamped the For: and From: onto 2 of the 3 die cut squares to be used on the “inside” flip of the card.

Now to put it all together :)
Adhere with double sided tape or cosmic shimmer dries clear glue, all the die cut pieces of patterned paper as pictured here:

And there you have it! How quick and easy was that!
If you like the look of the flip-it framelits, you can check them all out here: Flip-It Framelits
if you wish to make some cards without purchasing the framelits set, or because you don’t yet have a die-cutting machine, you can purchase the kit here (makes 3 cards and you get 2 stamps included too) : UKS Card Kit.
And if you don’t already have small any Christmas motifs toppers or stamps in your own stash, to fit the squares, I’ve used the Stampendous Tag Art “set Holiday” which we currently have in our sale section and fit perfectly.
Well, that’s all for today folks. Hope you enjoyed it and thanks for looking.
Be sure to visit Suzy’s blog tomorrow where she’ll be making a Christmas card too.
For a complete list of all projects that have already been uploaded this December, check out the listing here : UK Scrappers live blog hog listing.
Happy Crafting, and Merry Christmas to you all!

The rules of the hop are:
- Visit the UKS Home Page every morning where you'll find a new project - from there, click the link to get the tutorial for that day.
- Comment on each of the blog threads uploaded each morning (and BE SURE TO MENTION YOUR UKS USER NAME in your comment). If the project is not on a blog, you get a PASS.
- And then comment on the UKS thread, but you only need to comment in the UKS thread after the 23rd of December, and if you have commented on all the blogs. We will compare the commenters in the UKS thread to the blog comments after the 25th and announce the winner on New Year's Eve.
So, welcome to Day 10 of the UKS Christmas Blog Hop!

Teresa Collins Noel Album by Lisa
Hello everyone, after several of your requests to see more of Lisa's class project for the Teresa Collins Noel Album after we'd mentioned it on facebook, here it is :)
Most of of the materials she used are in the kit, the additions include black bazzill card for matting the photos and cricut cut outs to add extra festive embellishments.
Here's the front page:
You could even use the decorations from the outside of Christmas crackers in your crafty projects too:
Once Lisa had cut all the 12x12 pages included in the kit to the same shape as the outside covers of the album from the kit, the fun job of embellishing can commence!
Lisa loves her hidden pockets for popping in tags for journing, extra photos or just as is:
as well as a cool hidden area!
Really love this blocked look on the left hand page. Cut up offcuts into squares and rectangles, ink the edges if you so wish and create a mosiac look:
Cool borders, pockets and rosettes:
This rosette is easy to create, use a strip from the offcuts of cardstock, then a border punch all the way down the strip (Lisa had used the Woodware ribbon crafty edger design here), create an accordian fold all the way down the strip matching up with the ribbon slot designs. Fold the mountains and valleys, then adhere the two ends together. Fold flat and pinch together to create a rosette design. Where there's a hole in the middle, cover with something cool and coordinating.
Lisa has too much fun playing with pockets and tags!
Lisa used 2 nesting sized circle cut outs and an eyelet along with some twine, to create her own closure on this cute envelope:
And she's used offcuts from the cardstock to create a collaged pocket:
More cool ideas on these pages:
Just check out the black ribbon and white buckle used here on the page edge, looking just like santa's belt buckle:
Some different ideas on this next double page:
The ribbon included in the kit has been used to create a ribbon board, so you can slide in tags, photos, journalling, memorabilia:
And Lisa has embossed some cardstock to use as a photo mat, and used metallic wax rubons to highlight the embossed areas:
Here's some blank pages ready to decoarte:
and then the back cover including name of the creator. The album is then held together with the book rings in the kit and offcuts of the ribbon from the kit to embellish the book rings:
Hope you all enjoyed that. Great project to adapt for any occasion.
Enjoy!
Until next time....

Thanks
Thanks to all you lovely people who came and supported us at our 5th Ultimate Rubber Stamping Demo Day last month. It was a super day as always and the girls demo'ing did an amazing job yet again.
===== Kim =====
Kim was busy demo'ing products from Imagination Crafts along with Mica powders, twinkling H20s and the incredible Stampendous Frantage range. You can see more of Kim's creations on her blog Kimx
===== Clare =====
Copic Markers, Molly Blooms Stamp Designs, jute string, 3D creations - this combo can only be the talented Clare Rowlands. Follow Clare's adventures on her blog : Molly Blooms
===== Lisa =====
Lisa made me laugh, she'd gone for a walk with hubby and new puppy the day before the demo and hubby couldn't understand why the walk was taking so long and why Lisa kept stopping to pick up things. Lisa was collecting real leaves to create her autumn feel to her table top. And what a cool display it turned out to be.
Lisa was loving demo'ing her new eBosser and seems like you guys did too - we completely sold out on the day :)
EBossers are not back in stock with UK suppliers now until early Jan :(
===== Louise =====
Copic Markers, Distress Markers, Saturated Canary stamps, Wild Rose Studio and Magnolia stamps were among the array of products that Louise worked with on the day. Such a talented lady. Keep up-to-date with Louise's artwork by following her blog : Just Love To Stamp.
===== Michelle =====
Michelle was completely crackers! Sorry, I meant Michelle was creating DIY crackers! She also demo'ing all things sticky along with foil and beads. It never ceases to amaze me what she comes up with. Hope to see more of Michelle next year in a demo or two if she can fit us in.
===== Chris=====
Chris was having way too much fun showing you how to embellish your Christmas projects with the brand new Tattered Poinsettia bigz die from Tim Holtz along with grungeboard, Kaisercraft projects and sweeties!
===== Lou =====
If you haven't seen Lou's unique style of working with colouring mediums and the results she gets from being creative with magnolia stamps, you are really missing a treat. She'll be doing more demo's next year with us and watch out for the possibility of a class or two :) To find out more about Lou's creations, you can follow her blog at Crafty Lou's Small world.
======
If you enjoyed the projects and artwork you saw on the day, keep an eye on the class schedule as many of these lovely ladies teach classes at Sir Stampalot too. Classes can fill up quickly so book early to avoid disappointment.
Next class schedule for the first quarter of 2013 will be released at midday on Monday 17th Dec 2012 - still quite a few classes and dates to finalise but we should be target.
As well as the demonstrators, we had plenty of helpers on the day on-hand for all our needs! Jane and Cheryl were on catering duty (check out the green spooky tarts):
Steph and Mandy were our runners for the day, and Kay was extremely busy manning her own 'Create It Yourself' table as well as helping out with anything that needed attention.
And my folks were as helpful as ever, where would I be without them? Thanks all.
More amazing pumpkins carved out by Steph again this year, check this one out, a spooky witch design.
Thanks from all the team at Sir Stampalot, the demo'ing girls and myself, to everyone who came and supported us; it wouldn't be such a wonderful day if you weren't there!
And well done to Cheryl from Bretton, Peterborough - she was the lucky lady who won the prize draw on the day.
We'll be announcing a competition next week with goodies donated by Michelle from Stix 2. Watch this space...
Next FREE demo day here at Sir Stampalot, Peterborough, is not far away. On Saturday 8th December we have Jayne Saunders coming to demo her range of decoupage stamps and stencils along with the superb sparkle medium and micas from Imagination Crafts. See you then. Don't forget your camera!
Happy crafting - janicex
