The new compendium of curiosities is jammed packed with loads of techniques will follow on from the volume I.

I believe Tim is planning on doing a series so watch out for more volumes at a later date. Start your collection now, if you haven't already got volume I, you can order it here!
Under the Tim Holtz Idea-ology brand, there are also lots of cool new products including:
Some box corners and a fully working pulley system

These mini gears/cogs are just gorgeous and Tim's also brought out some clock keys which are a great addition to the range and brilliant for all those steampunk projects:

Here are some fab scrapbook layouts showing some of Tim Holtz Idea-ology range.

The Magnolia stand was looking pretty as always and there were lots of stunning card samples on display to entice you!

I love this calendar idea:

and even some gorgeous projects using the Magnolia stamp designs on fabric.

Another cool product is from Prima Marketing. its an alphabet set that allows you to create any words, in a straight line and with equal spacing. A little bit like playing with Lego!

CHA 2012

It's hard work doing all this research for the shop and bringing you guys brand new products and techniques. I know you all feel very sorry for us and would like to come instead just to help us out and we really do appreciate the offer but we wouldn't want to burden you with the responsibility!! So we're taking it one day at a time and will report back as soon as we can.
Firstly, watch out for up and coming instore classes using brilliant kits from companies with product lines that can produce great projects like this:
Kaisercraft have this awesome desktop spinney tidy thing which looks amazing:
this picture doesn't show it off that well but hopefully I'll have more shots to show you in the next couple of days.
Penny Black have again come up top-trumps with some amazing stamp designs and Elizabeth from Penny Black has created these wonderful samples which show the designs off perfectly:
These designs are being prep'd for uploading on our website as we speak, keep an eye on the What's New section for pre-ordering info.
Graphic 45 is a new company for us and I was impressed with their papers and projects on their stand:
One of the hottest new products on the market has to be the Distress Inks formula in a marker pen. Absolutely amazing results. Check this out:

and here's some info from Tim about his Distress Markers: "...available individually or as a set. these markers have many of the amazing qualities you've come to love with distress like being reactive with water to allow for amazing blending and shading, and of course coloring on directly on to your stamps and stamp with them. the dual tips are a flexible brush nib on one end for great coloring effects, and a plastic detailed nib on the other for journaling or fine detail work. these new distress markers are available in 37 colors... 37? oh yes, all 36 classic distress palette colors and white picket fence (just wait until you see what this cool white marker does with the other colors)..."
Additionally, one just for you Lisa, is the Ebosser:
It's an electric die cutting machine that will hold die cutting sandwiches big enough for the bigz and bigz xl dies but also wide enough to accommodate the grand nesties - perfect.

Here's a couple of little snippets to show you it in action.

eBosser Cutting Sizzix XL die

eBosser embossing large format plastic embossing folder

What this space for availability, price etc etc...

Here's another product that our Lisa will love. It's a hot glue gun that plugs into your USB port on your computer. Great if you are on the go and don't have a plug socket but do have your laptop with you. It has a steady and fine glue flow for greater control AND no dripping when you complete your line of glue.
Sizzix have plenty of new dies coming out. Again keep an eye on the What's New section of our website. Here are some snippets of projects that the Sizzix DT have come up with:
Also we are loving the Wendy Vecchi designs:
There are some amazing little dies coming onto the marker that match the 'art gone wild' designs but also great to use with other designs:
Darcie's have some wonderful stamp designs and papers coming out too:
Coming soon instore, Stamper's Anonymous designs by Tim Holtz including this wonderful steam engine and plenty of other designs suitable for steampunk projects:

Right then, off to find more goodies, I'll be back... Don't forget to keep an eye on the What's New section of Sir Stampalot over the next couple of weeks

La Blanche is a German stamp company that had the most amazing stand set up, sample displays and stamp designs.  Here's some samples using their stamps which you'll find instore soon!

this is such a cute design for anniversary cards:

And love this display they had created with microscope slides:

Emily and Ryan from Stamping Bella were just the nicest guys and their stamp ranges were brill.  The stamp company has been around a while but it's new for us.  We're excited to be stocking their collections - available in store soon.  Check out these designs that will be in the the first delivery:

appropriate for many a mother I'm sure:

The ever popular. prestigious stamp company, Hero Arts, never ceases to fail to amaze and delight with their new stamp designs and accessories. This year is no different with their great new printed papers and new accessories to match:

Here's a couple of card samples that were on display at their stand:

And brilliant news this year is that Hero Arts has teamed up with Basic Grey to bring a new line of coordinating stamps and papers in four themes.

Here's a close up of what one of the cling stamps will be packaged like:

here's a couple of gorgeous samples using both the BG papers and the Hero Stamps:

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on these little characters from La La Land:

Let me know what you think.

Outlines are a fab company who have been going for many years. I've always loved their designs and they additionally have the most amazing, well laid out tutorials online for you to follow.  Click here for one of them.

Anyhow, again designs from this company will be appearing in store soon hopefully.
Check out these samples on display at their stand:
