Time

A variation of the same theme from our previous post.  This super card made by Sara features lots of creative detail:
A piece of black card as been embossed and then gilding wax used to highlight embossing for the base layer.
Another piece of black card is used and the large corner die from 'Tim Holtz Gearhead dies' is used on four corners.
The die cut is removed and gilding wax used on them and they are then replaced back in corners.
More single cogs have been die cut and waxed for decoration.
The centre clock is die cut several times and stuck together to give thickness and also gilding wax used on it.
Tim Holtz tissue wrap is used behind the black card.
The clock hands even move so you can put what time you like on the clock.
products used are -
Tim Holtz - gearhead die set
pebeo - gilding wax
creative expressions - gilding wax
embossing folder - texture linen
Tim Holtz idea-ology - tissue wrap-melange
My creative spirit - black card
Marianne design - clock

Disco Fever

Sara (Inky Fingers) has made this fabulous card by using the Sue Wilson arched window/door die and turning it into a juke box.  Talk about thinking outside the box!
It really shows that we can use dies in others ways if we look carefully, I would never have thought of using it as a juke box but it works brilliantly.
The records have been made using various circle dies and a personalized record sleeve finishes it perfectly.
The wavy triple border gems looks great teamed with the notes die cut from a Marianne Designs die called musical notes.

Products used are:
Sue Wilson dies:
CED22002 window shutter
CED22001 arched window
Sue Wilson die Eternal rings (used for front of juke box) CED1606

Spellbinders nestabilities circles
Cafe Parisian 12x12 paper pad
Marianne Designs Musical Notes
Triple wavy gem border
8x8 card blanks
