Those Crazy Birds again

Hello, I am back today with another Bird Crazy card and
this is one that I have made for the shop.
I have used a Tim Holtz stencil and distress inks for the background.
The sentiment is by stampendous and a verse my mum used to say to me when I was young.
I have stamped the bird out in archival coffee and coloured with distress makers.
I used the dies to cut my bird out and cut another wing and set of eyes to decoupage
Products used are-
Stampendous sentiment 'Sunshine face'
Archival coffee to stamp with
Distress ink pads for rays in- Scattered straw
                                            Mustard seed
                                         Rusty hinge
Distress markers for bird in- Antique linen
                                      Tea dye
                                                   Mermaid lagoon
                                              Mowed lawn
Have a lovely weekend and I promise my next post will be bird free

Tim Holtz - Crazy Birds

Hello, it's me, Louise with a blog post to tell you about the crazy birds that have landed
 here at Sir Stampalot.
The new Tim Holtz stamps are just flying out the door (sorry could not resist)
One of our lovely customers (Maggie Moore) came in with this fabulous card to show
us using the stamps and the dies that match.
The dies are pretty amazing they cut really close to the stamped image and if you are like me and hate cutting out too much these are a must have.
Maggie teamed one of the birds with the woodware wreath stamp for a
 fun Christmas card
but the stamps can be used for lots of occasions
 Items used are -
Cream shrink plastic (used on sweets and bauble)
Black and white enamel for the eyes (makes the eyes look great )

Bye for now
Louise
