If you loved the Hello Kitty cards in my last posting, then here are another couple of real corkers, by Mel again.
Mel Ware has created these card samples for Sir Stampalot. This fierce character is the Lion from the sizzix family. I love the way Mel's given him boggley eyes and used colourful wool to create his mane and tail. The addition of the little crown on his head, gives this guy a little cute side and there's also some embossing in the background using the 'bird call' cuttlebug embossing folder.
Now you just won't believe this, but this chilled out polar bear is actually the same lion die as in the previous card sample. But without the woolly mane, and instead adding a scarf, hat and the icicles (naked silicone glue with a hint of glitter), you get a completely different look.
More embossed background using the sizzix texturz, great dotty corner punch and another die cut - North Pole.
Mel is really, REALLY creative, this is just some of her work. We've got lots of samples to keep your juices flowing. You would not believe the ideas Mel comes up with - her head must be spinning with creativity 24/7.
Lucky for us all, Mel's recently started up her own blog, you can keep an eye on all her fabulous creations at Apple Cake Art.
Thanks Mel, we at Sir Stampalot really appreciate all the hard work that goes into your samples you make for us, we are truly grateful, and very proud of your artwork, as we are with all the very talented ladies who are part of our design team.
